Travelin'

This time of year always goes by so quickly. It's hard to believe we will be home in less than 3 weeks. Here's an update on what we've been up to.

Over Halloween, we stayed put and enjoyed the local culture. Then, we went to Varazdin. Then, Ian turned 30! Then, we went to Vienna's Christmas Market for Thanksgiving break.

Here is what we have been up to in pictures and captions:

Halloween:

My class on Halloween. :)

Mirogoj Cemetary. Families come to put candles and flowers on their ancestors graves - in remembrance.

We found a grave that didn't have anything on it, lit a candle, acknowledged the people we love who have passed, and had a moment of silence. I like this tradition. I think we'll try to continue it on the states.

Varazdin:

Ian is 30!!!!!!!!!

Ian's students threw him a surprise party! It was so sweet!

About to head to the hockey game.

Ian's Hobbit Feet Birthday Brunch

Look closely... at our feet. :)

My dog is cuter than yours. DEAL.

Birthday dance!

Vienna Christmas Market:

Someone's excited! :)

This is real life and not digitally remastered. What a Thanksgiving!

Santa's Workshop. DARLING!

Haaaaaaa hahahahaha ha!

Gotta stay warm somehow! You get to keep the mugs! :)

Awesome. Too bad Xena had to stay at home with the sitter.

That's right.
P.S. Vienna is spectacular.
P.P.S. Speaking German is fun.
P.P.S.S. Remember, even though you are speaking German, it doesn't mean you're in Germany.
