A decision

October. It doesn't seem like the time when you would be considering a major decision for the following school year. Yet, when teaching in an international school, I expect my boss to ask me what I plan to do for the 2014-2015 school year.

When I moved here just over a year ago, I could have easily told you the answer that question. That we would move back to the US. But the decision just isn't that easy anymore. So, as Ian and I ponder whether or not we will stay a third year in Croatia, the opportunity for travel here is a major factor in keeping us here. Not to mention the great people, adequate planning time, free apartment, and relaxed school environment. We will continue to consider this difficult decision as you enjoy (I hope) the second half of our adventurous summer. Here we go!

The Heinz sisters take Italia! (Perugia, Montepulciano, Siena, Cinque Terre, La Spezia, Montelcino, Pisa, Lucca, and Bologna - in about 5 days... I dunno what we were thinking!)

And then found some awesome dudes on the train to Venice!
Venice!

The Stormies and Nick discover Greece!

Athens
The ferry from Bari to Patras.

The view from our hotel. Do you see something special in the background?

 Melissi, Lalioti, Kefalari, and Korinthos
The family's vineyard.

The security.

The Greek family!

The house where Ian's great-grandfather was born.

Luann's father's first cousin, Lewy!

Possibly the most picturesque lunch of my life.

One more family picture

The Storm fam in Bari (waiting for our ferry to Dubrovnik).

 Dubrovnik!

Luann enjoying her float in the Adriatic Sea!

So, that was our summer!

Oh yeah, and then we went to Oktoberfest! The REAL deal this year. Wahoo!

The first four pictures pretty much sum up the drive to Munich.

We made it!

They asked us to take their picture. This is what we got.

The whole crew - and that photobomber.

Just a little beer. You should have seen the large!

Day 2 - touring Munich. One day of Oktoberfest was plenty for me!

The original Hofbrauhaus!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures! Lots of love!
