Spring is in the air!

Isn't it just incredible how merely the thought of spring can add that bounce back to your step and energy to your typing fingers. :)

Slovenia!

So, I must now rewind to February when we traveled to Bohinj Jezero, Slovenia. Our school has a week-long ski break, so Ian and I decided to have our first ever ski vacation. We purchased some used skis a few weeks beforehand and were able to practice at Sljeme - the mountain just up the road. So, when we hit the slopes at Volga, we were ready!

The views were absolutely breathtaking as you can see!

We enjoyed spending time in the lodge, hiking around our hotel and Bohinj Jezero (lake), and playing in the snow.

Our hotel - a fire, four-course dinners, a sauna, heated tile in the bathroom = AMAZING!

Now fast forward to March 3rd because someone turned 30 ... in Paris! :)
